Windows XP Activate Windows

Im having trouble activating windows. I am connected to the internet and it
still says that there is no connection. Is there any way I can activate
without this occuring

Choose the option to activate by phone.
Then call Microsoft at the number displayed on the screen, normally
completed in about 5 minutes.
