I can access the internet, but can't play any online games. This is a recent problem. I do not have any firewalls enabled. I've ran spy bot and nothing comes up. Any suggestions.

Dan;
You better enable the firewall NOW.
You do not need to disable the firewall for anything.
You may need to reconfigure it, but that is it.

Exactly what happens when you try to play games?

Game : Battlefield 1942
Servers all load in with a ping of 999
Can't connect to any servers

The same thing happens with Unreal Tournament 200

Thanks Jupite

Also when I ran a UDP scan at Sygate it says I need to turn off my firewall. But I dont have one. This problem is a recent one. I never had this problem before...

Greetings --

Given today's widely-publicized and well-known hostile Internet
environment, only a fool or a masochist would go on-line without both
a firewall and antivirus protection. People really shouldn't need to
be told to use a firewall, no more than they should need to be told
not to stick their hands into an open flame.

As for suggestions, enable a firewall, scan and remove/repair your
PC for the viruses and worms that have probably made themselves at
home on your hard drive, and then contact the administrators of the
games' servers for assistance.

Dan;
Do you have a router or another type of hardware firewall?
Contact your ISP, perhaps they have done something.
