Hello Manny,
So where did you load the driver on the local machine or on the machine
with the printer attached?
Does the x64 Windows machine install the driver from the printer share?
Does it attempt to install from the printer share?
Is the new driver using the exact same name as the 32-bit printer drivers?
What do you mean when you say it doesn't print?
Is the print job sent to the printer on the x64 Windows machine?
Do you see any error messages?
Are you printing across the net or are you printing local?
Thanks,
Darrell Gorter[MSFT]

I have an HP 2300dn printer on my home network. It works fine with W2K Pro
and Server and XP Pro. I have loaded the XP 64 driver from Windows Update
(it's not on the CD) and everything looks fine, but I cannot print. I have
tried punching a hole in the Firewall and turning the firewall off.
Neither
works. Any ideas?
