someone please help me with this...

i was connected remotely using XP PRo to a 2003 server
machine

i rebooted the 2003 machine from remote desktop
now the 2003 machine will only boot into terminal session
the console screen sits at a black screen
however the remote desktop works fine
as if remote desktop has taken over the auto boot to
console and changed to remote desktop...

i have tested this on XP and did the same thing, however i
was finally able to get out of it using disconnect/log
off, etc.... but i cannot free the 2003 box...

please help!!!!

This isn't expected behavior...

However, to try what you were doing with XP, try connecting via the
command "mstsc /v:computername /console", then do the
logoff/shutdown/etc from there... This command connects you to the
console session.

You might want to escalate this to PSS (support.microsoft.com) if one
of the support engineers don't respond to this posting... I can't
find any other references to this issue.
