I have a friend who has wriiten a document in Word , standard A4 format , and he wants to insert some pictures . I have looked and it is possible .He wnats the words to go around the pictures , so I am guessing they will need to be about one tenth of the size of the page .
What I want to know is what size do I reduce the pictures to ?
Will I have to reduce by pixels or by size ?
Will the pictures show up when I print the document ?

Thanks .

When you insert a picture into a Word document you can click the picture and it will show with 8 little circles which you can then use to resize the picture. If you want to keep the aspect ratio make sure that you use the corner circles.

If you right-click and choose picture format you get the layout options (how does text flow round the picture) and if you wish you can resize the picture from the size options again either maintaing aspect ratio or not.
