Hi,

could anyone tell me if there is any way to turn off permanently the music
that sounds when Windows Welcome screen appears in XP and also when you turn
off the computer, other than turning the sound off? Or, is it a Microsoft
thing?

I don't want to not use my sound, or have to remember to turn it off and on
each time.

I would appreciate any suggestions,

Thanks in advance,
Sandra
