windows vs frontpage host

A Windows host runs a Windows server. A FrontPage host will host FrontPage
webs, normally with FrontPage Server Extensions, either on a Windows or
UNIX-based system. Or, they may require the use of FTP.

Hi,

Windows can serve FP pages and ASP pages whereas a FP host may be on Unix
and only be able to serve FP pages.

A Windows host is a host running Windows and IIS, and can also be a FP host.
A host running Unix or Linux can also be a FP host.

My site is built with FP 2000 I have windows NT
I want FP server ext (easy to upload) so would I be best
sticking with a FP host?

Thanks
Lisa

Not only would it be best sticking with a FP host, it will be necessary, if
you want the extensions.

Best to use a FP host, as the extensions add function to the
web. Your version of Windows does not matter, it is what
the host is using.
