When I receive an attachment in an email I can open the attachment but, when
I open the attachment it goes into my work pad and I cannot read it because
it is all jumble up like it is in code or something. My siter suggested to
move it into an Aodoe file but it was too late it was into my word pad so it
didn't change. My children has sent emails from their school emails
something similar has happened.
does anyone know if this could be fixed?

What is the file type of the attachment ?
Do you have software installed that will open that file type attachment ?

If you were sent a Microsoft Word file, you need a program to view the file.
The file will try to open in Word Pad, but it is not readable.
