Windows Vista vs Windows Vista x64

I am trying to download a patch to hook up a new printer to my new laptop. It
is asking me if I have Windows Vista or Windows Vista x64. I am new at this
so I have no idea which one I have. Please help

ok. are you using a 64bit OS or a 32bit ( if you dont know go to control
pannel --> system [you may need to switch to classic view to see this
easily] then scroll down and it will tell you)

"windows vista" = 32bit
"windows x64" = 64bit
