Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor RC

Did the advisor run correctly on your computer? I've installed it three
times (on my Dell 4400 desktop), in two separate WinXP partitions and it
won't give me any results. It just keeps scanning forever. The first
version ran fine. I even uninstalled and reinstalled MS Net Framework in
case there was a problem there. I can find no where to go to get help on
this issue or even report it to MS. So I'm reporting it here.

I don't know how to help you. I have a custom built machine and ran the
RC adviser in XP Professional without issues. I then installed Windows
Vista RC1 on a separate partition as a clean install that was made
courtesy of Boot It Now NG. I now have Vista Release Candidate one and
the build is 6000. Is this similar to what others have as well?

It's build 5600, not 6000.

Whoops, thanks for the correction, Rock. I appreciate it. I got my
numbers mixed up what with using 3 operating systems in a tri-boot.
<98SE for old legacy programs like Space program for Windows 3.1 and
some old DOS programs that do not run in XP even with its compatibility
mode, XP Pro. for current stuff that does not work in 98SE and Windows
Vista to test for the future -- grin>

Lol..yep multiple installations and answering questions on different
newsgroups can get the brain in a twist for sure.
