Windows Vista updates won't install

I am running Windows Vista in a dual boot configuration with Media Center
2005 and am no longer able to do any Windows Updates to the Vista install. I
have tried numerous times to install but the installation fails everytime.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I am running the 64bit version of Vista
currently.
 
I would recommend using the 32 bit version as a lot of drivers are currently
missing for the 64 bit version. Microsoft will not allow unsigned drivers to
be installed in the 64 bit version to try and improve stability by only
allowing approved/tested drivers to be installed.

Also some people have had issues with a SATA / RAID install. Try on an EIDE
drive...
