Download the KB928365 security update file directly from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...78-8e1b-4c38-adfd-e8bc95ae548d&DisplayLang=en
and install it (NDP20-KB928365-X86.exe).

The one I couldn't install is KB935807. Had to de-select this one to allow
all the others to install. This one will still not install.

advice?

Presuming you have looked....
What messages do you get when attempting to install?

The update has installed successfully but the computer needs to be restarted
to complete, then when i do retart, it goes on and off a few times then a
baloon appears saying something along the lines of the update failed.

Hi Carey

the link you gave us relates to versions up to XP, and not for Vista. I
tried installing it, but it fails, saying it is the wrong version.

Any other suggestions?

Yes and one for Windows says now succesful in the list, however, the updater
keeps saying that i have one update to instal, this being the same KB935807?

Thanks

Thanks dean-dean - it looks like the right link this time, but when I run it
the install bombs out at the install window stage (no message). Reboot does
not help, and the MS WindowsUpdate stays in place.

And when you go into Windows Update and check the code?

Join the club !

I have tried installing through update, through stand-alone, running
stand-alone as Administrator and uninstalling 1.1 (it won't uninstall!) and
nothing works - all i get is the same error code 643.

There is a suggestion that as 3.0 is included in Vista, 1.1 is not needed -
anyone know if this is true ?

Hey. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to post my own update problems here, but it
sounds like a lot of people are. I'm trying to install a Security Update for
Windows .Net Framework (Version 2.0, Important.), and two updates for Windows
Vista (one Important, one Recommended.) But they've failed to install more
than 3 times (Last night I tried to have it shut down and install the updates
overnight, but this morning it was still installing the first update!) I keep
getting both Error Code 800B0100 and 800736CC. When I try to look them up
under 'help' no results are found. Anybody know how to help?
