In Windows Vista, I selected my screen saver. Clicked on "apply" than clicked
on "ok.'
Waited 3 minutes (my time setting), and no screen saver.

Request your help in solving another Vista issue?

In your other post in another Newsgroup here, you said you clicked OK, then
Apply!!
Make up your mind!!

That is correct Mike. In my previous post I did say, I clicked on "OK"
first than "apply" and no screen saver. Someone corrected me in an email
said to click on Apply first and than OK. I did that and still no screen
saver.

So tell me what is wrong?

Don't Worry About Mick Murphy. Just FYI. He Is A Frustrated Old Man Who
Needs To **** Something. Just FYI

The screen saver may not activate or will exit intermittently for several
reasons:
-Power management is enabled and configured to activate before the screen
saver.
-If the computer has a tuner card, the television tuner may be active.
-An anti-virus utility is currently running an active scan.
-Third-party wireless keyboards and mice may affect screen saver performance.
-A background application is preventing the screen saver from activating.

-Ensure all available video driver and software updates have been downloaded
and installed..
-Ensure all available operating system patches and updates have been
downloaded and installed..
