Windows Vista RC2 - am I wasting my time?

I've spent about 2 hours trying to find somewhere to download Windows
Vista RC2 5744 32-bit. I know it was up on the Microsoft site for a
while, so it must be OK to download it, if only I could find it.

Any suggestions?

Just FYI (You thought you had gotten rid of that phrase, eh?)
My Suggestion Is To Wait For The Full Version.

As far as i know Microsoft pulled RC2 and replaced it with RC1. Better to
wait until the official release of Vista.

Can't wait! I've had preview versions of every Microsoft OS since
Windows 95.

My XP install is getting a bit flaky, and I want to re-install, but
I'd much rather go with Vista, even if it's not finished.

If anyone can help with a DVD (in exchange for e-Beer Tokens), then

Is it true that RTM has been built, for availability to the public on
Jan 30 2007?

If so, is there any way to buy Vista Ultimate before this date?

Yes and no.

RTM is finished.
There are several ways to get RTM of Vista now, but they are expensive.
Subscriptions to MSDN or TechNet are a few.
