I think you and I posted at the same time. I was asking about what PK to use
Now I know. Thank you Tom.

Downloading now. Thanks. (We'll see if it is as much of a nightmare to
download as Vista Beta 2 was with the CPP.)

I don't think there will be a problem as this build the file size is a lot
smaller and not as many people can get it.

can build 5536 be installed over beta2 5384 as an upgrade ?
has anybody tried this ?

Yes it can. Please..Please do that as upgrading from Beta 2 to RC1 will be
what a lot of people will be doing. Also see my latest post "Suggestion of
5536" and make your feedback / bugs public so we can all help each other
make Vista better.

Well, they probably figured if they let Kevin have it, they might as well
give it out to just about anyone...

Use the Beta 2 kit keys that you received.

I just recieved an email from Microsoft with the link to download it and a
product key to use with the download. Now i'm trying to install it but the
product key provided in the email doesn't work. Is there any way to grab
another product key?

I have a dedicated drive with dual boot between 32 and 64bit. . .any
thoughts on upgrading that. . .will 5536 detect 32/64 and install current or
both on the dual boot disk?

Hello David,

Your MSDN key should work. If is doesn't contact the MSDN folks and maybe
you need a differerent product key.

I tried to download using the download manager on an xp home machine. It
downloaded a file that was only 900 and some k...

Downloading it now without using the dl manager. Not sure if that robs
someone of the oppurtunity or not.

Thanks for the info....I'll do the upgrade option and report back my results
sometime this evening.

Just a question...since this is a pre rc1 will the rc1 be able to upgrade
over it when it comes out, or will we have to do a clean install of rc1?
Just wondering and planing for the future

Yes, it works. At least the Ultimate one does.
