I upgraded to Windows Vista, and added Microsoft Word 07. I cannot print
envelopes and labels from *Mailings* on the ribbon, though. There appears a
message: >There is a problem with label information you are trying to use.
You may be able to connect the problem by repairing Office or by reinstalling
the label information< Does anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks,

Mal

I would suggest an office or word newsgroup as I don't think this is a
specific Vista problem.

Ask in:

OR

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?

I think Office 97 has been reported to cause major problems in Vista, and
users have had to reinstall Vista after attempting to install it. If I
remember correctly anyway.

I have Office 97 installed in Vista. Outlook does not work - everything
else does. You do NOT need to reinstall Vista.

Where did you hear this crap?

Thor

There are various reports in this and other newsgroups. I just reported
what I heard, and that many are having issues.

Thanks for your information, Steve.

I seem to recall Microsoft stated that nothing earlier than Office
2000 works with Vista, so I'm not surprised people are having problems
with Office 97 (not to mention it came out in the Windows 95 era).
