When I want to send a link to a web page or a document from Microsoft Word, I
can't. Windows Live Mail is useless if you can't send links or documents.
And it's a MS product to boot! Just had this new computer with Windows Home
Premium about a week. and it works well for the most part except that damned
WL. How do I get it to send links and documents. It keeps telling me
doesn't support HTTP and STMP(?) any longer. Then it starts a wizard wanting
to establish a new email account and around and around I go. It's enough to
take the computer back! I tried to download Thunderbird, but the message
always popped up saying msn has timed out. And how to do get in contact with
a MSN tech?

I seem to have no problems opening Live Mail, starting a new email and then
using the Insert adding whatever I like to the email
how are you endeavoring this??

Thanks for replying Peter...the situation goes like this: When I'm viewing a
web page and want to send the page or link to the page (the page button on
the tool bar) it opens the wizard wanting to set up an internet connection
asking for my name and email address, at which point I get the message that
Microsoft no longer supports HTTP email such as Hotmail, MSN, Yahoo, etc., at
that point, window states "that an internet connection hasn't been
established and do want to exit". That's as far as it goes. Like you, I
have no trouble with WL per se, just trying to send the page or link. Well,
I am connected to the internet and can use WL. So why is it asking me to set
up a connection? And I have a Hotmail Live account already. I can use WL,
just can't send pages or links.
