When does it happen?
How long has it been doing this?
When did it start?
What are you doing when it happens?
What changes/additions to the system did you make before it started?

1. When does it happen?: When I close writing to a CD / DVD, or when I
finish I finish syncing my iPod.
2. How long has it been doing this?: The last two weeks.
3. When did it start?: I think after the last windows updates and or the
last iTunes update.
4. What are you doing when it happens? See answer to question 1.
5. What changes/additions to the sytem did you make before it started?: See
answer to question 3.

I tried uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling, but it did not change anything.
Thank you for your response and any help is greatly appreciated!!

Did you get this resolved? This is happening to my computer, too, now that I
have down loaded Itunes. The error message comes up on mine all the time.
It has nothing to do with any program I'm in or me opening or closing the
disc drive door.
