Hello, I am currently having trouble with my recently purchased laptop that
came with Windows Vista installed. It worked fine until this morning, where a
message says "Windows Control Panel has stopped working" when I attempt to
open it. Same goes for my Windows Media Player.
I ran the "sfc /scannow" command as suggested on another thread, but came up
with corrupt files right at the 99% mark: Details are included in the CBS.log
windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log.
How can I fix this?
