Well, I used Boot It NG to set up a separate partition for Windows Vista
and now have a tri-boot between 98SE on one Fat32 hard disk and Windows
XP Professional and Windows Vista Ultimate on the other hard disk on two
separate partitions. However, I have not been able to connect Windows
Vista to the Internet and do I need to update my LinkSys Network card
drivers and should I burn the newer driver(s) to a cd and then update
Windows Vista Ultimate that way or is there something else that is going
on. I can connect to the Internet in both 98SE and XP Pro. Thanks in
advance for your help.

Make certain that your network card is recognized by Vista. Look to the
manufacturers home page for information and support on this subject. It may
be that others are having the same problem. Without the correct drivers you
will not get the LAN interface to function.

Download the drivers and expand them to a floppy. Yes, the package is
usually that small. Then direct device manager to the floppy to install the
drivers.

Thanks, Richard and yes my system does still have the useful floppy
drive. <grin>

Vista would not recognize my Linksys card. However I just installed
the XP drivers for it. Works just fine now.

You need to install the drivers for it. The XP drivers worked fine for my
card.
