I love it. The only drawback was that I had great deal of difficulty trying
to import my Outlook Express accounts into Live Mail. After about twenty
minutes of fighting it, I decided to install Office 2007 Professional Plus.
By doing this, I could use Outlook and import my accounts.
When I tried to install this OS on my computer alongside XP, I had a big
problem. Vista installed its boot record over XP. Of course, this corrupted
the files and prevented access to all my files (including 70,000+ pictures).
After days of frayed nerves and sleepless nights, I discovered that I could
re-install the system files, from the CD, in safe mode. My intention was to
install Vista on my second hard drive, and today I am happy to report that I
am running a double-boot system and loving it!

You will run into trouble if you want to get your OE Outlook Express account
merged with Windows Mail because they are two different storage formats.
This may not be a concern of yours but it is for me because I have the
Newsgroups open all the time, and like to send things to OE to put in
folders. They will go to Outlook as well if I'm on Vista, but not Outlook
on my XP boot. I can solve the Outlook merge problem on both boots easily by
pointing to a common folder, but not the OE/Win Mail problem (getting those
guys merged on both boots).

One way to get Outlook accounts joined is:

Simply go into Outlook on both operating systems and point Outlook to the
same .pst file as your default delivery location:

1. In Outlook, click on Tools, E-mail Accounts, then click the Next button
2. Click View or Change, then Next
3. In the Delivery New E-mails section,
4. Click the New Outlook Data File button
5. Click OK, then browse to the shared .pst file.
