Then why don't you just use something else and get on with your life?

That's very reminiscent of the way AT&T/Bell Telephone used to treat their
customers when they had a complete monopoly in the United States. My
friend's wife worked there and they used to laugh about telling customers
"If you don't like the service, call the other phone company." It really
wasn't funny since the customer was stuck and there was no other phone
company.

There are legitimate issues and doubts about Vista. There are also fanatics
who just automatically hate everything Microsoft does. But discussion or
questions about the flaws or shortcomings are not suggestive that the person
should just "load the other operating system" since there really isn't one
for many people. If the OP's point is wrong, point it out. But there's no
reason to try to squash any statements that are not pro-Vista or
pro-Microsoft.

I like, no I love Microsoft products.. up till the vista era products that
include:
Vista
Office 2007
Ie7
WMP7
Windows mail desktop

all the above products are horrible.. all prior products are far better...

I would prefer MS to keep making good products... they seem to be making
wrong
decisions and they will lose in the long run.

There is Windows XP, 2000, ME, 98, 95 (do I need to go on?), not to
mention the various Linux flavors.

It's not like he is cornered and out of options.

Crap like he spewed out does nothing to help Vista as a product, but if
you wish to support that kind of behavior, go ahead.

Then stay with those products you like. No-one is forcing you to use the
latest MS has come up with, is there? If I didn't like this years BMW 3
series but loved last years model, I would use last years, and stay at
that. I wouldn't cry in BMW's forums about how bad this years model is.
