well do I like download the file from the internet straight to the DVD disk?

Because I did what you said and nothing happened no boots or anything and
no I am not trying to run the 64 edition I am trying to run the 32 edidtion

and one more thing when I burned that file using DVD burning software well
it said that the file was now an IMAGE file is that natural?

Download to disk. Burn the file as an image file (seems like you did that).
You can then boot into XP and install from within Windows, or you can change
you BIOS to look first to the DVD drive, insert the DVD and boot the system.
When prompted to 'hit any key to boot from CD' , hit the spacebar and you
should begin the install.

Are you sure you want to risk putting a beta os on your computer when you
have so little knowledge? Remember the warnings from Microsoft.
