Windows very slow with P4

Hi,

After installing windows XP i can feel the system in good
condition, but after few days or weeks of working the
system becomes more heavy and slower than before where i
can notice even with the games.

is there any way to increase the speed of the system?
i'm already using Intel P4 with high Ram of 512 MB ..

is there anything cause windows XP to be slower after
using it for several times?

Do a disk clean followed by a defrag and then clean the registry. Do this
once a week and your system will purr.

The 64 dollar question is do you have a virus program and up to date and
using it. Next do you have a firewall installed? Spyware and trojan
checker. If not try them and then repost back.
