Hi -
I use the Excel programming newsgroup pretty often.
It used to be when I double clicked the bold heading of the beginning of
a thread I saw the "full thread window" and all replys to a posting, and I
was able to click the helpful response box.

Now when I double click the same heading, I see the beginning of the full
thread window, BUT, I get no vertical scroll bar so I'm "frozen" looking at
only the top part of the full thread window.

I tried varying the pixel count on the settings tab of the Display choice in
the control panel, but it did not make a difference.

I'm stuck.

Any other ideas out there?
Thanks,
Neal Z.

You are using the web interface to read the newsgroups--it's the slowest,
clunkiest, most error-prone method there is. Do yourself a favor and switch
to a newsreader, such as Outlook Express, which comes with Windows. See

Thanks, I will surely give it a try.

Good. After you've tried it for a while, let us know what you think. Others
who post here using the web interface can benefit from your experience.
