I was wondering if it's possible to block some users from
using the internet through internet explorer? My computer
is always connected to the internet all I have to do is
double click on the internet explorer icon I dont need a
password or anything. Some of the users who use my
computer should not use the internet. Is there a way to
stop them. My computer is part of a network so will it
affect sharing printers or anything else on the network
(if its even possible to block them from the internet)?

if your machine's file system is NTFS, then you can deny access to
iexplore.exe for specific users.

How can I tell its NTSF

Go to My Computer, Right-click on the Drive, select Properties, and in the
second row down, it will tell you the File System.
and where do I deny access?

Given NTFS file system, you must disable somple file sharing.Again, in My
Computer, click on Tools-Folder Options and choose the View tab. Scroll down
to the bottom and uncheck "Use simple File sharing"

Then, logged on as The Administrator, or a User with Administrator Rights,
right-click on iexplore.exe, choose Properties, go to the Security Tab. (You
won't see this tab if Simple File Sharing is enabled). Add the User name you
want to deny access to, highlight that user name in the top pane, and in the
bottom pane ckeck all the "Deny" boxes.
