I guess I am still missing the point on the upgrade from
Windows ME to 2000. The problem is my computer keeps
rebooting after I installed an upgrade to 2000.

Now, I formated 4 floppy disks and cannot get the boot to
kick over to the a drive. Do I go to dos? If so, what
command do I use in order to get this baby going.

How do I remove the partitions? Do I have to reformat my
entire hard drive and lose everything?

What do you mean, boot the cd-rom? From where, dos? How?

I don't know how to do this, I am not a computer whiz
kid...I need step-by-step easy to understand lingo.

Thanks.

You can't upgrade from ME to 2000. A clean install is the
only way.

If you need to boot from the 'A' drive, you need to go
into the BIOS and set the floppy drive as the first device
in the boot order. When your computer is first booting
up, you'll see the initial black screen, with a line
saying 'Hit DEL to enter Setup', or something similar.
Some computers use F2, other the DEL key. Once in the
BIOS, find the boot order and move the floppy drive
first. You can then boot with the four floppies, and run
Setup from the CD.
