windows updates

Does anybody know if the updates that you get from the Windows automatic
update site are stored on your computer anywhere or if you can download and
save them to your computer. Thanks

Go to the update site. Click on the link to personalize the site. Elect to
have Windows Update Catalog added. Click Save Changes. The main update page
will now list Windows Update Catalog in the sidebar. Click that link and it
will take you to a page where you can select, download and save the updates
for later installation.
