Windows updates

Each time I go to my Windows update page on Explorer 6.....and hit the
download updates.....the page freezes. This has been happening for a month
now, cannot get help from anyone. Have not been able to download any critical
updates....any updates period.

Any ideas out there??

Windows version?
Type "winver" (no quotes) from your Run > Dialog Box.
Make a note of it and post back that information.

Try the Windows Update Troubleshooter;
