Windows Updates

There are 17 new update for Windows. I want to know if I can download the
updates and save them on a disk to install at a later date. I am using
Windows Vista Home Premium 64 Bit.

I should have mentioned this in my first message. I installed on my system
but I have a friend who usually has a very bad connection and a musch slower
system.

I want to download and save to a disk for her.

Do yourself a favor and don't take any advice from this troll. You can
trust the advice of the MVP's and regs. This guy is only here to stir up
shit.
 
Some latest updates are in part due to my input to MS upward to their
senior/upper management.
I've submitted approx. 20 reports of defficiencies which must be fixed by
Windows7 release, else it will contunue Vista's dismal sales.

However the bulk of today's eruption o fmultiple updates is for Security, as
I installed IE8 and see mor epeopel switch to it setting it as the new
favorite target for hackers.
E.g. today IE8 received a cumultaive massive update, do NOt wait,
download/install now if you run IE!

The sooner the better, it took me 20 minutes only, why's that a problem?
