I have a question that may seem dumb but I would like to get input from other
users. We have two Production servers that run an LMS. 1 server is Database
and 1 server is Web App. We have our automatic updates turned on both
machines but an hour apart to have them installed. When Microsoft released
there new updates on Oct. 11, 2005 our machines did not pick them up until
the next day Oct. 12, 2005 and it must have been after the time we set to
install them at 6:00am and 7:00am respectifully. So on Oct. 13 at 6:00am our
database installed the updates but our Web App server did not install them at
7:00am. We manually installed them this time because we didn't want that
vulnerability for another day to see if they would install on Oct. 14, 2005
at 7:00am. Both servers have the same OS and are the same server purchase
together with the pretty much the same software installed. Has anyone else
experienced this windows update delay. Thanks for any advice or help in
advance.
