Remember folks! The 2nd Tuesday of the month is Patch Day. Windows Updates,
and some Office ones also, will be out on Tuesday the 12th. There will be
some critical ones in the mix, so make sure you update your machines and
protect yourself before the script kiddies start hitting on the vulns.

Thanks for posting the reminder

I'd rather wait for a day or two and let those who need them urgently to get
them first, otherwise MS's server may be down :-)

Those running WinXP without SP2 should get preferences

Thanks Ron, Automatic updates are turned and I am anticipating to see that
yellow shield in my notification area.

I see they didn't make it again. :)
 
To be fair, I haven't seen anything on the XP machines I've checked so far,
and don't have the direct addresses to the patches to offer.

They are coming, clearly.

This is also interesting, 12 April for SP2, how many admins
without SUS have forgot
to block this ?

I've got them now, too, but two of them won't install on my home machine. I
think I'm out of disk space. 50 megs to spare apparently isn't enough!
 
2 didn't install on the laptop until I plug in the mains

The seemed to have been delayed getting out by a couple of hours yesterday.

I run them thru some test units for a day or so before I let them loose with
SUS.
