"Software update incomplete, this Windows Update software
did not update successfully."
This is message I now get when trying to do Win updates.
I noticed it when trying to install upgrade to DirectX and
got the message something was missing and it could not
complete the install.
I have looked over KB 319585 and everything checked out.
All I can think of is I deleted some expired Certificates
a few days before and maybe one of them I need is now
missing?
Anything non-Windows will update with no problem.
MS and Win Update sites are trusted sites.
Any suggestions for fixing greatly appreciated!
