Windows Updates Files

Hi Sami

I'm afraid that there is no way to backup the update files already downloaded. If you want R&R XP you will either have to use Windows Update after the re-install or manually download the updates before your re-format - you can then burn them to a CD for future use. Either way, with a dial-up connection, it will be time consuming.

Hello.

I have passed through a good number of "Windows Update"s, so the Win XP Pro
running in my machine is more up-to-date than the one in the (original) Win
XP Pro CD.

I want to format and restart the PC from scratch... where can I look for the
Files downloaded in Windows Update and backup them? I don't want to download
them again (expensive Dial Up connection...), if possible.

Thanks for any help,
Sami
