Hi
I'm with Wanadoo & have just performed an update that too a long time as
it's a new pc!

Now in my Mailwasher when i click on check mail, i get a messsage saying
"the pop server is not responding appropriately. The connection was
intentionally closed before session complete!"

Wanadoo say my settings are ok, could it be atemporary fault or because it's
busy!

What update? If a recent Windows Update, see:

From information I saw this morning, HP and Nvidia have updated drivers
to address the problems with their software. Check on their sites.

Hi this might be relevant to you:

Remove the Windows update 911567 via Add/Remove Programs.
Then check that your Automatic Updates setting to make sure that the same
update doesn’t automatically download and install.
Please read this before proceeding:

Hi
I contacted Wanadoo & they said it may be a firewall. I already have Zone
Alarm, but this problem coincided with me downloading AVG Free.
I uninstalled that & now all seems ok!So it isn't ZA.
Just i don't have an anti-virus programme now.
How can i configure AVG to work ok without causing this mail block. Should i
disable the firewall & plugins!

You should not disable the firewall. Did you go to the link I previously
sent you and do the steps? Here is the information again:
