I am using XP SP2 with AUTO updates ON

Whenever I start explorer, the windows update site ALWAYS
loads, and ignores my homepage settings.

How can I stop this, as it is a slow operation and very
annoying!

Thanks...

Try unchecking the AutoUpdate and see if it still happens.

If these steps do not resolve your problem, please post back to this thread
with the details and any error messages.

Hope this helps

The Windows 2000 machines in our domain are having the same problem. I
haven't figured out how to turn off the redirection to the Windows Update
site when IE is opened. Anyone have any ideas?
