How do u tell windows update how to connect to the
internet? I now have broadband but it is still trying to
use my old DUN connection even though it is not there!

The best thing may be to contact tech support from you bb
supplier.

You need to make the change in Internet explorer.
Go to the internet properties either by right clicking the IE icon on the desk
top or through the control panel.
Choose the connections tab.
Choose either the "Never dial a connection" or the "Dial whenever a network
connection is not present"

.I have already done this, now windows doesnt even bother

to try and update. Last upddate was in July.....
