When I go to the Windows update page to check my
computer .. the window opens, but says "with errors" and
the window is blank .. what have I got wrong here

then,the only solution might probably best for u is to
uninstall the window update,and re- install it from the
microsoft page,that should solve the problem.

Greg, is this a recent issue, is there anything you might have changed,
added, removed lately that might have triggered this issue?

Receiving a notice of errors on page is not unusual. Do you have Java
installed, you can check here:http://www.pocoso.de/pocoso052.html
