I need to know that if I install only service pack 4 in my
windows 2000 machine, will it cover all the updates &
patches launched before service pack 4. If yes then how to
find out how many patches are left. if no then from where
can I get those patched apart from windows online update.
I don't want ot go to the online update site.

Hello,

Yes, if you install SP4, it includes all the updates from pervious service
packs. To find out what you need after installing SP4, connect to the
Windows Update site and it will display a list of all the updates that you
still need.
