Windows Update

I am trying to access Windows Update. When I select Windows update from the
start menu, the browser loads and goes out to the Windows Update site, then
I get a message that "Windows Update has encountered an error and cannot
display the requested page." It also give me an error number (0x800A0007).

Does anybody have any ideas of what the problem could be?

Yes, I encountered the same problem.

Instead of using your Windows upate from your Start Menu,
try going straight to www.microsoft.com and clicking on
Windows update.
