Windows Update ?

Hi there,

For the life of me, I'm stuffed if I can update the latest services from
Microsoft. I've been down the track of editing the registry and changing
access codes etc.

The bloody Microsoft site says I'm not an "administrator"

I must have a bug or something. I've cleaned the system up with Spybot
and all the other crap and its clean as a whistle.

By the way, I'm using XP Home edition.

Any suggestions before I bang my head against the wall ?

It's not the site, it's your computer telling you that. Make sure you have
admin rights.

Yeah, I've been down that track Willie. I'm the administrator of the
system. And I've gone into the registry as stated by Mr. Gates and edited
all users, created a user named "everyone" and given "everyone" admin
rights.

Still no good !
