Windows Update with SUS

We would like to use the system SUS, but seem to be
missing reg' key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Win
dowsUpdate\AU from all the machines. Even after
installing a fresh copy of XP Sp1! I have also tried
running the Client Update file WUAU22.msi, but we get a
message that we should be running Windows 2000 SP2 or
Windows XP, which we are! Anyone with idea's?

Hello,

You cannot install the client on Windows XP Sp1, because it is not
necessary.

I'm not sure about your other question, but i think that you will get a
faster and better answer in:
