Windows Update "Update Now" Loop

I'm not in UPDATE NOW loop in Windwos Update. I am
prompted over and over to install updated Windows Update
software. Seems to be a known problem Microsoft is still
investigating. I tried the suggestions in their article.
No luck. I'm running Windows XP Professional on a Dell
Precision M60 workstation. Any suggestions?
