Windows Update TO Microsoft Update

Is there a simple way of switching users in an office over to Microsoft
Update from Windows Update without having to visit their workstations? (SMS
has not been setup to deploy updates from an internal server yet, bigger
fish to fry)
 
If you are using an Active Directory domain then it is relatively simple
using Group Policy. The links below explain more on how to do this and there
are newsgroups dedicated to it such as Microsoft.public.softwareupdatesvcs
that can help you along for any bumps in the road. It is always best to
start with a few computers to make sure it is working correctly before
rolling out domain wide. --- Steve
