MS has apparently changed the software involved in windows update via
Internet
Explorer. When I try to update windows using IE6 on my Win XP home edition,
I get a page that says I need to download an update to the update software.
However
when I click the button on the MS Update web site, nothing happens. It
clicks,
and the page refreshes..but no download.

My computer is built by a local dealer, who installed OEM Windows, so of
course
MS wont support my question. (my copy is legally purchased.). Can anybody
tell
me whats going on with this damn microsoft update thing? I cant get any
updates
or security changes.
