Windows Update - Service Pack 4 Express

I have tried to download and install this update but each
time I try I get the error message: "server returned an
invalid or unrecognized response.." Looking in my
Add/Remove window I see that just a few patches, etc.,
have installed. How do I overcome this problem?

you might want to try the Network install.
