Windows Update Problem

I have an XP machine that I had used a product called
Upgrade Commander on to help move user settings and
applications from an old Windows 98 PC to this new XP
box. This product worked great and moved all of the
old applications and settings perfectly however when I go
to Windows Update it is showing the machine as a Windows
98 PC with no updates available/needed. Is there some
registry key somewhere which is telling Windows update
that this is a 98 box instead of an XP box (like it
should)?????
