Windows update Popup window

i am tryin to download the windows update, but the popup
that shows the download won't do anything. it shos its
progress, but it stays at 0%. what cud be causing this?
 
I also have similar probles that intercat popups into
their sites. On a airline site for example a popup opens
for u to select dates/destinations, but when i select
them, nothing happens. the window does not close or send
the info

Disable your firewall and anti-virus when obtaining the updates.
