every since I installed the windows update pack 2 my
computer takes quite a bit longer to boot up? Also
noticed I'm now unable to respnd to my yahoo e-mails...?
What gives? anybody?

There are a number of problems that stem from the SP2 update. Take a look at
the inforamtion here and see if something will help.
