Windows Update link returns Http error 404...

Hi, I'm running XP Pro (SP2) and have been using "Windows Update" for the
last year quite happily, however;

I recently noticed that the "Windows Update" link
http://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/v5consumer/default.aspx?ln=en-us no
longer works. It consistently returns the "Http error 404" page from the
link
http://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/errorinformation.aspx?error=15

Any ideas? What I have done wrong?

It appears to be attempting to link to:
http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en

Hi Brian, thanks for the redirect. I used your suggested link and it worked
fine. So has the "v5" url been superceded / replaced / deleted?

BTW Were you suggesting that I had asked an improper or ill considered
question by including the links at the bottom of your post?
